Everything But the Bagel Salmon
Well this is going to be short and sweet because it is a two ingredient really good meal 😳 - pretty funny huh? I saw a picture of this recipe and just had to try it - salmon fillets with Everything But The Bagel seasoning. What more is there to say?
I purchased my Everything But the Bagel seasoning at Trader Joe’s a couple of years ago, but if you don’t have a Trader Joe’s nearby, it is also available on Amazon. I had been using this seasoning for a few various foods, it is good on meats, vegetables, and oh yum - avocado and eggs 😛. If you haven’t tried it yet, it is definitely worth adding to your seasoning collection.
The Trader Joe’s bottle of Everything But The Bagel seasoning contains sesame seeds, sea salt flakes, dried minced garlic, dried minced onion, black sesame seeds, and poppy seeds, all ingredients you recognize and can pronounce!
INGREDIENTS - (all two of them!)
Salmon
Everything But the Bagel seasoning
Prepare the salmon by rinsing the fillets and then pat them dry with a paper towel. Baste the salmon with your favorite good oil such as avocado, or olive oil, or you could use ghee. Okay, that was three ingredients if you count the baste 😬.
Sprinkle the seasoning generously over and around the salmon and then cook with your preferred method. Bake in the oven at 375 for about 15 minutes, depending on the number of fillets and their thickness, or the BBQ is an excellent choice too!
I think this could be excellent on other types of fish also, and don’t forget the chicken, beef, vegetables . . . Pick some up Everything But The Bagel seasoning today and let the experiments begin! Enjoy!
